Topic: Mill Creek Valley Conservancy District
Presenter: Jennifer Eismeier
Join us for the RCP Power Lunch on Wednesday, February 19, 2020, to hear a presentation from Jennifer Eismeier of the Mill Creek Valley Conservancy District. Jennifer’s talk will focus on what the Mill Creek Valley Conservancy District IS. The US Army Corp of Engineers has managed the flood control of the Millcreek for years – however by 2021 The Corps of Engineers plans to kick back responsibility for the Mill Creek flood control maintenance to the Mill Creek Valley Conservancy District, an organization that has largely remained dormant for the past decade.
Learn what changes in ownership and maintenance of Mill Creek flood control infrastructure mean for businesses and residents in your community.
